Both Brent and Kenneth grew up in a musical family and started singing at an early age.  Carolyn, their mother is an accomplished pianist and encouraged them to sing from the beginning.  Brent traveled with a Southern Gospel group called Higher Kingdom before the birth of Testify.  In February 1995 Brent and Kenneth answered the call to start Testify and sing together.  In May of 2001 Brent met Aimee Danielle Smith at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Deville, LA.  They were married January 19, 2002.
